HEEACT signed MoU with HCÉRES

The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) on February 12 2025. The partnership between HEEACT and HCÉRES marks a significant milestone in the shared commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education in both Taiwan and France.

The collaboration between HEEACT and HCÉRES is built on a foundation of mutual respect for their roles in quality assurance and a shared vision for continuous improvement in higher education standards. This MoU signifies an official commitment to foster cooperation in areas such as the sharing of expertise and methodologies, the collaboration on research projects, the development of capacity building and the facilitation of knowledge exchange in higher education practices.

HCÉRES, established as an independent public authority by the French government, is dedicated to evaluating higher education institutions, research organizations, and programs in France. Its work is aimed at ensuring quality, transparency, and continuous improvement in academic and research activities.

Both HEEACT and HCÉRES are deeply committed to advancing higher education quality assurance and are excited to explore further opportunities for collaboration. The MoU is signed by HEEACT Executive Director Kuang-Chao Yu and HCÉRES Acting President Stéphane Le Bouler, commencing a new partnership for future joint initiatives.
