HEEACT signed the memorandum of undertanding (MoU) with the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Quality Enhancement of Higher Education (NIAD-QE) Japan in 2011. Later, two agencies renewed the MoU in 2014 and 2017. Both Presidents of HEEACT (Dr. Der-Tsai Lee) and NIAD-QE (Dr. Hideki Fukuda) renewed the MoU in September 2022.
