The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) has launched the INQAAHE Funding Scheme (IFS) to promote the INQAAHE Strategic Plan (2013-2017), with the aim of adding value to the operation and function of its members. HEEACT has applied for and been awarded the IFS three times since 2017. The IFS provides HEEACT with opportunities to collaborate with other international quality assurance agencies, such as the collaboration with the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) from Indonesia and the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Quality Enhancement for Higher Education (NIAD-QE) from Japan. The IFS projects were also recognized in the international venues. These initiatives have enabled agencies on both sides to build capacity for cross-border quality assurance and research in higher education, increase international visibility and strengthen substantive international cooperation.
