Prof. Dr. Chen introduced the differences between artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and the design concept of ChatGPT. In the ever-changing technological world, AI is currently utilized in many aspects of our life. However, there are still a lot of unknown limitations and risks, Prof. Dr. Chen suggested that people should be cautious when using any artificial intelligence applications or tools. Quality assurance agencies should evaluate the impact of AI on higher education and its quality assurance in order to plan quality assurance strategies and to develop risk management mechanisms for higher education in the future.
