Since becoming a member of the INQAAHE and APQN international QA networks, HEEACT has actively participated in research, staff capacity-building projects, and internal cooperation projects supported by both networks.In 2017, HEEACT applied for the INQAAHE Research and Innovation Project Award and received funding support under the research topic “The implementation of self-accreditation policy in Taiwanese higher education and its challenges to universities’ internal quality assurance capacity building.” This research article was also published in the journal Quality in Higher Education on December 16, 2018. Recently, the HEEACT successfully received different awards and acquired funding from both international networks to promote and enhance Taiwan's higher education and Quality Assurance mechanism.
